A former center of trade in the city's central business district, the 1920 structure has been transformed into an efficient, 121-guestroom hotel. The lobby is a large, airy room, with a carpeted seating area in blue and green, and a marble-floored reception area. The hotel tends to be frequented by return business customers, but vacationers appreciate the short, 2-block walk to the French Quarter.
