New Orleans Airport FacilitiesFinancial ServicesTravelEx America Business Center is open daily from 6:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. It is located in the Ticket Lobby near the U.S. Post Office. It offers travel insurance, foreign money exchange, photocopies, fax services, emergency cash, and wire money transfers. Whitney National Bank is located in the Ticket Lobby next to the U.S. Post Office. Services offered include cash advances on credit cards, travelers checks, money orders, foreign currency exchange. Hours of operation are: Monday-Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Fridays 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays. ATM machines can be found throughout the New Orleans International Airport. Internet Access PointsAll payphones in the terminal have data jacks so you can use a laptop to connect to an internet service provider or a business intranet. Wireless hotspots are located in Delta Crown Room on Concourse D and Airtran Gate C9 on Concourse C. Shopping & restaurantsThere are several shops throughout the terminal, including duty-free. There are many restaurants, bars, ice-cream parlours and cafes at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. Public TransportationThe New Orleans Airport Shuttle service is available from the airport to the hotels in the central business district; the ticket office is on the lower level in the baggage reclaim area. The Airport Limousine Service provides luxury transport from the airport to the central business district and the French Quarter; information desks are located on the lower level baggage reclaim areas. Amtrak: Union Station is located at 1001 Loyola Avenue. Amtrak does not provide transportation to or from the airport. Passengers should use limousine, public bus, or taxi service to reach the station. Car ParkingThe airport has two large on-site parking garages for long- and short-term parking. There are also several off-airport companies that offer long-term parking. Car RentalAll major companies (Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty) are all represented at the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, with desks on the lower level. Facilities for the DisabledThe entire airport is free of any architectural barriers to the handicapped. There are nine Telephone Display Devices (TDD) located throughout the airport. Lost and FoundAirport Operations retains items that have been lost in the public areas of the terminal. The office is located on the Upper Level in the West Lobby near Concourse C. The office is open 24 hours a day.
